Dr. Hadar Ron - Chairman
Dr. Hadar Ron, Managing Director of Israel Healthcare Ventures, Ltd. (IHCV), a Venture Capital Fund focused on investing in Israeli and Israel related companies in the field of medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical-related IT. Dr. Ron is a physician and attorney by background. She has extensive medical, legal and management experience gained in senior positions in a range of insurances companies, law firms, medical and educational institutions.
Her legal and management expertise includes venture capital consulting, medical malpractice, general and medical insurance and legal practice. In the medical field, Dr. Ron has spearheaded several research initiatives and has developed and taught courses on medical law. Dr. Ron is closely familiar with the field of development of medical products, the processes associated with their approval by relevant authorities and marketing to customers, and the steps required of developing companies for achieving their business objectives.
She is an experienced member of boards of directors of numerous medical companies.Dr. Ron holds MD and LLB degrees from Tel Aviv University and has studied at the School of Business Administration at Tel Aviv University and in advanced courses at Boston University School of Medicine.
Gavriel Meron, President and Chief Executive Officer

Gavriel D. Meron serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of novoGI™ (formerly NiTi Surgical Solutions Inc.). In addition, he is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of M.G.D. Management Service and Investments Ltd. which provides managerial services to health care and medical device companies. In 1998, Mr. Meron founded Given Imaging Ltd (GIVN) and served as President and Chief Executive Officer until 2006. Prior to Given Imaging, Gavriel Meron served as CEO of APPLitec Ltd from 1995–1997; Director and General Manager of Optibase Ltd (OBAS) from 1993-1995; Chief Financial Officer at InterPharm Laboratories Ltd. (IPLLF) from 1988–1993; VP Finance and Administration at Numax Electronics Inc from 1985-1987 and Corporate Budgets Manager at Tadiran Ltd. from 1983–1985. Mr. Meron holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BA in Economics and Statistics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel.
Dr. Avi Molcho
Dr. Avi Molcho is a venture partner at Forbion Capital Partners, a Dutch life science venture capital firm. After graduating from the Tel Aviv University Medical School, Dr. Molcho served as the Chief Medical Officer of the Naval Commando (Navy Seals) of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). Dr. Molcho had his residency in psychiatry and postdoctoral fellowship in psychopharmacology at Columbia University, Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, where he also served as a unit chief. In Israel, Dr. Molcho was Deputy Director General of The Abarbanel Mental Health Center, Tel Aviv University Medical School, the head of the residency program and the chief editor of the Israel National Boards of Psychiatry.
After completing an MBA program at the Tel Aviv University, Dr. Molcho joined Giza Venture Capital, an Israeli venture capital firm, as a managing Director, to head the firm’s life science practice. Dr. Molcho was CEO of Neovasc, an Israeli medical device company, and led it through a turn around to acquisition. DR. Molcho is a cofounder of BiolineRX and a founder of Biologic Design, two Israeli drug development companies. Dr. Molcho serves on the Boards of Pathway medical Inc. and Circulite Inc.
Jeff Dykan
Mr. Jeff Dykan has years of experience working in senior management positions with top global companies, such as Applied Materials, VocalTec, BitBand, Opal and Andersen Consulting. He is also very experienced with VC's, IPO's and M&A, having spent most of his career in finance, business development and general management of global companies during challenging business cycles.
Mr. Dykan offers portfolio companies the benefit of his expert analysis of the company and the market potential - as well as his hands-on experience and global network of connections in the financial community. Mr. Dykan is Chairman of Trig Medical and serves on board of directors of Deep Breeze, Quantomix , BetaO2 ,GeneGrafts, ColBar ,FDCardio and the Technion Incubator.
Roland Dennert
Mr. Roland Dennert is a Managing Partner at Cipio Partners, a leading secondary direct investment firm with approximately €300m assets under management and a focus on growth stage technology deals. At Cipio Partners Roland manages investments in both Europe and Israel. He has led several portfolio acquisitions and completed numerous exits for the firm. Mr. Dennert started his career in private equity by joining the 3i Group in 1998.
Earlier, Mr. Dennert was a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group in Paris and with Roland Berger & Partner in Munich. Prior to this he was a research engineer with Hitachi Ltd. in Japan. Mr. Dennert holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, Cambridge, MA, USA, and a Master of Electrical Engineering from ETH Lausanne, Switzerland.
